Webstix offers monthly WordPress (Content Management System / CMS) training classes at our office on Madison’s east side for our clients. Below is the schedule. Please check back here before attending in case there are changes. You must register if you are going to attend a class. If there are no participants for a class, it will be canceled.
The training class session agenda is:
Introduction
Basic page and menu editing.
Answer any questions or do specific training
After 1 hour and 30 minutes
This is open to our clients (free) and to the public (for a fee). You can come to find out more about WordPress, to get a refresher course (or send in new people if you’ve hired new employees), to brush up on your web/CMS skills or to ask specific questions about your Content Management System website.
These classes are online and the schedule for 2020 is yet to be determined.
If there are no attendees registering for a class (24 hours before the class), it will be canceled.

We now have some Joomla/CMS tutorial videos online now. You can view these at anytime and go through the training yourself! Here are some good Joomla books that are available if you’re someone who wants to have a reference manual or book to refer to.
We have a listing of some WordPress Tutorials and Resources for you. Also, find a nice selection of WordPress books. All of our installations of WordPress do come with instructional videos in the administration panel that are always up to date.

The class is free for Webstix clients and their employees or $75 for non-Webstix clients (in that case, please bring a check made out to “Webstix” when you arrive).

We will add social media icons such as Facebook, X, Instagram, and YouTube and set up links to your social media page. Our setup will include links to your accounts.

We will set up the Google Reviews and show 3-4 Google Reviews on the new website’s home page. Doing this will increase visibility and is a powerful strategy to build trust, establish credibility, and drive conversions.
