Today, I just wanted to do a quick post explaining our process. I think it's important. We get this question and lot and we've worked on our website design (project) process for 12 years now. We've done tweaks to it and even an overhaul a while back. It works very well:

When you contact or call us, what we do first is answer your questions and then we ask you some questions. We want to give you information to find out if we're the right company for you and if you're the right client for us. We're concerned about our business relationship being a win-win for everyone. The best website design projects happen when there's synergy and a great relationship. We do turn down projects from time to time if we feel that we would not be able to adequately deliver what the client needs. That's only fair, we feel.
We then meet and consult with you to find out more about what you need and what your goals are. We have experience in many industries and love getting into new industries. We can carry knowledge from other projects into new projects and industries.
After that, we present you with a Proposal or Service Agreement. It's signed and then we get to work.
When we get going, we let you know exactly what we need. We get this information to you right away as we understand that it can take time to get some things together and find time to work on a website design project. Doing website design probably isn't a part of your daily routine - which is why you contacted us, right? We're patient but do our best to put a little pressure on you so that the project deadline is met. We have an online project management system that helps keep everything together as our team works with your team.
We understand that when the new website launches, the work is not over. We are careful to follow up with any loose ends and make sure that you're happy. Once the final bill is paid, we don't forget about you. We want to make sure that you're comfortable with your new website and want to help you take advantage of all its new features.
After launch, we can also do more work. We're here to help you do Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and website promotion. You can continue to work with our copywriters or work with us to help watch your website stats and more.
