The first websites we worked on were pure HTML - no CSS, no JS, and no WordPress. If we wanted a button somewhere, we had to design each pixel instead of using CSS to draw the button. Back then, there was hardly any e-commerce and the tools to do it were not friendly.
Yes, a lot has changed since June 2001.
We've entering year 20 now and we're still very much alive and kicking. With over 25 employees and work done on thousands of websites, we've learned a lot and we keep on learning, too.
This post won't be really long. I just wanted to say something about us entering year 20. With 19 years behind us now, we're still working on making the next project the best one we've ever done. We learn from any mistakes and keep abreast of what's happening with web technology to make sure our clients have every possible advantage out there.
Our team is great. They work very hard and absolutely love new challenges. We have many people who have been with us, 8, 10, even 12 years or more. That's saying a lot, really. What's scary to me is that we're hiring some interns who were in diapers when we first started! 🙂
From starting with just 3 of us, we can now do so much more:
There seem to be new and interesting projects every week and we love it. And we don't bring in new services to offer unless we know we can deliver on them. It's just not worth doing any other way.
We're excited for the next 19-20 years as well. We have knowledge, expertise, and experience that's higher than most firms in the area. We'd love to welcome more clients into the Webstix family - come join us!
