The Heartbleed Bug - Is Webstix Affected?

OpenSSL and Heartbleed

If you've seen the news about the Heartbleed bug (CVE-2014-0160) and website security (the bug that somehow has its own logo), then it's something you should read about:

The 'Heartbleed' security flaw that affects most of the Internet (cnn.com)

We have checked with our host and our servers are NOT affected. The operating systems we are running are NOT affected by Heartbleed.

If your website is not hosted by Webstix, then you should check with your website host to see if the operating system on your server(s) are affected. If they are, there is a patch that should have been applied already.

Thank you,
