North Central Utility is a full-service dealership specializing in new & used semi-trailer sales, heavy-duty parts and trailer service / repair. The company started as Badger Utility in 1976, is now known as North Central Utility and has 9 locations in Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota.
The last project we did for them had two main goals. First, they needed the website to be responsive so that it worked well on mobile devices. We helped them convert the existing design into responsive. Second, they needed help re-branding themselves from Badger Utility to North Central Utility and we gave them a hand doing that.
Website Features
The website features a home page slide show / rotating pictures (which they can manage themselves), home page videos, a blog/news area, integrated search and other great functions. One custom function we built for them was their truck trailer inventory search. The data is synced up with their legacy system so it's always up to date. The form changes as people enter in what they're looking for and the data is displayed on the page. This is a great tool for their customers - as well as their own salespeople.
