Last night, WordPress released a new version. It's a major features upgrade. This is not a security upgrade but it's a good upgrade to get.
WordPress 4.6 “Pepper” (wordpress.org)
Version 4.6 of WordPress, named “Pepper” in honor of jazz baritone saxophonist Park Frederick “Pepper” Adams III, is available for download or update in your WordPress dashboard. New features in 4.6 help you to focus on the important things while feeling more at home.
The previous version of WordPress was 4.5.3 and it was released on June 21, 2016.
Our Website Maintenance Department will be in contact with you regarding these upgrades. Clients that have signed up for our Automatic WordPress Update Program or Website Care program will get their website updated in the next week or so or if a follow-up version of WordPress is released.
