National Conference of Bar Examiners
Visit WebsiteThe Bar Examiner is published quarterly by the National Conference of Bar Examiners and it provides information on current issues in bar admissions along with statistics and other information for bar admission administrators, members of bar examining boards, and others with particular interest in the bar admissions process. The National Conference of Bar Examiners, founded in 1931, is a not-for-profit corporation.
This is a nationwide magazine website, which has been running in a print-only version for years. They came to us wanting to both publish new issues online as well as have an issue archive for people to refer to. We created a unique post type in WordPress to help make setting up and publishing new issues an easy process. There are also several kinds of searches available to comb through all the data they continue to upload to the website.
The website is ADA compliant so people with disabilities have an easier time navigating and using the website. With every new project we propose to our clients, we're including the option to make sure their website is ADA compliant and gets passing grades using those tools. This is a new standard we believe Google may start saying is required in the near future.
They also have some custom-built tools to feature certain articles or to create topics themselves. We did most of this work without a lot of plugins, which is important for any website. Doing this helps make sure the website loads quickly and since there are less "moving parts" so to speak, there's less that can go wrong, break, or get broken into.
When hiring a website designer and developer, it's not just important to get a good website but to get a website built right so it continues to work well into the future without much hassle or headaches.
Webstix Offers More
There are a number of services we offer to our clients with their website projects besides just ADA compliance. For example, we offer copywriting by a professional copywriter because your website is an online salesperson working for you 24/7 and your copy needs to convert. You don't want to send a poor salesperson to try to sell to your prospects but you want the best salesperson you can, right? We also offer AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) as an option to help ensure mobile pages load quickly and it's something Google uses. And there's even more.
Our idea with website design is not just to crank out websites (especially not in a few hours, like some companies do) but to do good planning, cover all the bases, and deliver a quality product that both our clients and Google like. If having a website search engines and your customers like and are attracted to matters, then make sure you choose a web design company capable of not only telling you all the things you need but delivering those items the best way possible.
With how Webstix works, we don't want our clients coming back to us after launch asking why we didn't do "X" or "Y" or even "Z" - no way. We've really either offered it to them and they turned it down or we've taken care of it with the normal way we set up websites (I don't think I mentioned our 144 point checklist yet - darn). Missing key website elements certainly doesn't benefit us or our clients, so we make sure all the bases are covered.
Ready for More? Ready to Have a Good Website... For Real This Time?
We realize not all businesses are ready for a Webstix website and that's fine. We do have some less expensive options but we're definitely not competing on price because that's a lose-lose situation for everyone.
If your business is ready to take your website to the next level, have it built by industry professionals, and make sure all the bases are covered, then contact Webstix today and let's talk about how we can work together to finally build you a website the right way so you can take your business to the next level.
